The Greatest Invention: Money

 Although we've been on the planet for a relatively short amount of time (Earth is 4.5 billion years old), modern Homo sapiens have dreamed up and created some amazing, sometimes far-out, things. Throughout this human history, many important things have been invented, but the most important one was money as it has brought convinience, validity and has created employments.

 Firstly, money has brought convinience to people. As it is portable, you are able to carry it with you all the day, or you can just leave it at home and take it when you need. Another way of convinience is that money is durable. So unlike an animal it does not get sick. You do not have to worry about its health or hunger. It also does not need to be cleaned. For example, if you do not clean your animal, its value would go down, but this rule does not apply for money. The last way of convinience is that as money is small, you can put it anywhere you want, such as in a wallet, in a pocket or in a bag; whereas you cannot do such thing with an animal or an item you use for trade.

 Secondly, money is valid. You can spend it wherever you go. This has been made possible by the invention of money. All money are avaible to use in every country. It is also useable whenever you want. For example, you have money, but you do not want to spend it now. As you can spend money whenever you want, you can save it and spend it later. You can also buy whatever you want with money. Although in ancient times, when money had not been founded yet, you had to find a person who wants what you offer and offers something you need or want in exchange. Thanks to money, today, we can buy anything we want without trouble.

 Thirdly and lastly, money has created job opportunities. For instance, it has allowed people with a profession to live easily. Think about an carpenter, before money was founded he had to find people who want his products in exchange for food, water, clothes etc. But with the money these people with profession can live on without any concern. As they sell their product, they can buy what they need by spending money they have earned. Money also created new sectors such as stock markets. Today thousands of people live on by these sectors. Another example would be that money made banks possible. Today banks have an important place in our life. Before money, you could not even think about such things as banks.

 To sum up, money is the greatest thing that has ever been invented in human history as it is convinient, valid, and creator of new occupations. As Napoleon Bonaparte once said “For war we need three things- money, money and more money.”
